A: The number one attribute is stability. Do not use an indoor walker unless it is super stable. Too many indoor walkers are light, rickety, tinny and rattle! And if you are relying on it for support, you need something sturdy and robust - if indoor walkers were animals, you want a bull and not a flamingo! 

Also, look for one solid frame. Our byACRE and Saljol indoor walkers intentionally do not fold. A folding indoor walker will never be as stable as one that does not fold, in fact we do not sell folding indoor walkers for that reason. 

Also, are walkers are designed for use in the home. Uses leave them inside the house and use them every day. If they were going out, they would usually take their other outdoor walker. If you want to be really confident with an indoor walker, we recommend one that doesn't fold and one that is around the 9kg to 10kg to give you that added bit of weight that helps with stability.

A: That's your call. If you don't need to sit, get the byARCE Scandinavian Butler. If you do need to sit and scoot, get the Saljol Indoor.

byACRE say you already have plenty of seats in your house, so you don't need one on your indoor walker. Whereas Saljol have you covered if you want to sit and scoot around from bench to bench in your kitchen.

A: Both the Saljol Indoor and the byACRE Scandinavian Butler have good wheels. The Butler has a larger wheel so it might roll over shagpile carpet and the ledge between your deck and sliding door a bit easier. But then the Saljol Indoor wheels are great for scooting around the kitchen and they also have a directional rear wheel lock if you want extra support and don't want lateral movement. 

A: Not really no! You don't need to take these outside your home, so don't worry about fitting it in your boot :)
